Elbert, also known as Lee by those close to him, was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Merlene, three daughters, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. First and foremost, he was a man of God and took his relationship with Him very seriously. Lee was also a dedicated engineer of his craft, retiring from Lockheed Martin after 30 years of hard work. He was an avid chess player and always had a smile on his face; trying his best to bring joy and laughter to those around him. He could always be found in the kitchen trying to sneak a snack or working hard in his study writing and researching. Of the many things he achieved during his life, he was most proud of his family and the love and laughter that was shared.
Lee will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends, and he will forever be in our hearts
