Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Johnny Caster officiating. Interment will follow in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Ellen was born Oct. 26, 1921, to Clarence C. Johnston and Maulsa Cate in Plummerville, Ark. She was the co-owner of Nance Poly Pharmacy and was a longtime member of Sagamore Baptist Church. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert L. Nance Sr.; and brother, James C. Johnston.
Survivors: Children, Robert L. Nance Jr. and wife, Gwen, Jerry L. Nance and wife, Judy, Daryl L. Nance and wife, Susan, and James M. Nance and wife, Marsha; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
