Elsie had an unwavering faith, loved the Lord, and was a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church of Keller, Texas for over 20 years. She loved her family and church family without waiver, and always had a big smile, a hug and a kiss for all those she loved.
She loved music of all kinds, especially Tom Jones-and was able to attend one of his concerts. In the early 80’s, her granddaughter Marianne stated she would pick her up from the skating rink in her candy apple red, Z-28 Camaro playing “She’s Got Legs” by ZZ Top.
She also loved cooking, shopping, learning something new, traveling, but most of all, family gatherings and spending time with family. She and her brother founded the Splawn-Wright annual family reunion and expressed their desire many times to see it continue by the younger generations after they were gone.
She was loved and will be so missed by those whose lives she touched.
