

Emma Joyce Curry Crenshaw was born in Ft Worth Texas, to Emma Joe Watley and A.D Curry on March 25, 1949. She was the graduating 67 class at Dunbar High School in Ft Worth, Texas. Her career was with the United States Post Office for 35 years.
She met her future husband Dillard Crenshaw in a bowling tournament. She told him “God said you were going to be my next husband” they married May 10, 1980, in their home on Dillard St. in Ft Worth Texas. She was a faithful member to New Creation Baptist Church during her early years, then continued her membership at Chimney Rock Ministries with her husband and daughter, where she served faithfully.
Emma lived a life filled with joy, faith, and love. She treasured her time reading her Bible, and she took great pride in her roles as a devoted wife, a loving mother to her only daughter, Krystal, a proud grandmother to Gianni, and a caring companion to her beloved “fur-baby”, Jackson.
God called Emma Joyce Crenshaw home November 4, 2025, peacefully at home with her family.
Emma was preceded in death by a her brother, Joe Duncan; mom, Emma Joe Watley; and father, A.D Curry
Her memories will forever be in the hearts of her survived family, her husband of 45 beautiful years, Dillard Crenshaw, daughter: Krystal Crenshaw of Ft Worth, Texas and granddaughter: Gianni Bruce of Ft Worth, Texas: Jackson Crenshaw of Ft Worth, Texas and other family and friends.
