Graveside service: 11 a.m. Tuesday in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth.
Eva Mae Tarver born in Wisner, Louisiana to Calvin Dean Wood and Lavanda Horton on January 13, 1943. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 6, 2016. Eva’s family remembers her as a strong, lovely kind woman who was selfless and would give you the shirt off her back. She embraced broken people and let them know she cared about them. A kind soul that loved not only her family, but everyone. She has now gone home to be with God. We will miss her very much, we love you mom.
She has joined in Heaven her parents, sons, T.J. Tarver, Ray Franklin Tarver II; daughter, Diantha Popplewell; sister, Ellen Wood; brothers, William Wood and Earnest Wood.
Eva leaves her memory to be cherished by her husband, Clyde Tarver; granddaughter, Stormie Tarver; daughters, Pam Tarver, Ann Basinger and husband Joe, Sue Henderson and husband David; sisters, Evelyn Wood, Joy Bayless and husband Tom.
