Evelyn M. Graham

Evelyn M. (Russell) Graham, 86, formerly of Russell, Kansas and Ft. Worth, TX passed away on November 21, 2013. She was born on November 16, 1927 in Winfield, Kansas, the daughter of Orville James and Helen Mae (Price) Russell. Evelyn graduated from Wyandotte High School, in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a devoted mother staying at home until her children were on their own and through the years helped her husband build a successful business in the dental industry.

Evelyn was a talented seamstress who believed that a hand-made item was a heart-felt gift. She enjoyed creating special gifts for both family and friends and would labor for hours creating delightful treasures.

Family was a priority. Evelyn was a dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren excel in sports and academics. She provided encouragement and shared their accomplishments with anyone who would listen.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William Lee Graham. She is survived by three daughters: Vicki Lee (Steve) Buhrle; Beverly Joyce (Robert) Bartholomew; Helen Sue Jacobe and one son, Mark William Graham (Lora); four granddaughters and four grandsons, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Evelyn felt she had been greatly blessed by a loving family.

A viewing and visitation service will be held at Shannon Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Ft. Worth, TX 76148, Sunday November 24, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
