Ever Jean Mitchell Sims

Ever Jean Mitchell Sims, age 78 passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Ever was born September 3, 1943 in Texarkana, Arkansas to parents, Bernice Shaw George and Milton George. She attended I.M. Terrell High School later receiving her high school diploma from Cassata High School. She accepted Christ at an early age, she joined Greater North Ebenezer Baptist Church under Rev. C. Wright. Later in life, she joined Cooper Street Missionary Baptist Church under Rev. Mark A. Harris

She married her high school sweetheart Larry Gene Mitchell, Sr. on November 5, 1960. From this union two children were born, a daughter Wanda LaNell Mitchell, ar.1d a son Larry Gene Mitchell, Jr. On April 16, 2005, married E. A Sims, Jr.

She had! several occupations during her lifetime including cafeteria worker at TCU, machine operator in several warehouses, and later janitorial services. . ·

She loved her family dearly and loved singing, dancing, and

having a great time. She spent the remainder of her life being a loving mother and devoted grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, E. A Sims, Jr.; her parents; Bernice and Milton George; two sisters, Debra Faye Peoples, Mary Ann George; four brothers, David George, Melvin George, Milton George, Jr., Freddie George.

She leaves to ·cherish her memory, her children, Wanda LaNell Simmons, Larry Gene Mitchell, Jr. (LaTonya Mitchell); grandchildren, Detra LaNell Mitchell (Kayo Rodgers), Martika ShaNell Simmons, Ke'Andra Mitchell, Larry Gene Mitchell Ill, Camry Deon Terrell, Chasity Nicole Terrell; great-grandchildren, Kayden LaNell Rodgers, Machi Jamar Simpson, Khaine Lamar Evans, Laiyah Gene Mitchell, Maliyah Janae Simpson; three sisters, Helen Marie Ealey, Ruthie Lee George, Ruby Jean Clark (James Clark, Sr.); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other

relatives.
