Floyd Collins passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, at a local care center. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Tabernacle COGIC, Superintendent R.L. Sample, pastor, officiating, the Rev. Weldon Tisdale, eulogist. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors with the family present 7 to 8 p.m. Survivors: His loving and devoted wife, Brenda Collins; children, Darwin Collins (Eunice), Dalon Collins (Carrie) and Sherri Collins; brothers, Hugh Collins (Ruby) and Uzell Collins (Ramona); sisters, Ivy LeeCottrell(Glen) and Kathrine Webb;eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
