

A Visitation for Francis will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Funeral Home, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112. Following the visitation will be a Graveside Service at 1:00 PM at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Francis Mae Warren was born to Horace Warren and Mattie Lee Woods on March 5, 1943 in Tyler, Texas. She was the second oldest of her siblings. She attended Emmett J. Scott High School in Tyler, Texas, and went on to live a life defined by strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith.
Francis Moore was a woman of many talents and an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a retired, renowned hairdresser and proud business owner of A Difference Hair and Nail Salon in Fort Worth, Texas. Through her artistry and dedication, she touched the lives of countless clients and friends, leaving behind not only beautiful hairstyles but also heartfelt connections and lasting memories.
Francis faithfully served as the Co-Pastor of Word of Life (Worship and Praise Bible Fellowship) in Fort Worth, Texas, where she ministered alongside her husband, Pastor Floyd Moore Jr. Together, they touched the lives of many through their leadership, love, and commitment to serving others.
Since the passing of her husband, Francis was not affiliated with a local church. However, her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior continued on. Her unwavering belief and deep compassion remained a guiding light to all who knew her.
Francis is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pastor Floyd Moore Jr.; her parents, Horace Warren and Mattie Lee Woods; her siblings Mattie Ford, Dewey Warren, Evelyn Duckens, and Vivian Jones; her daughter Pamela Boston; and her granddaughter Felicia Evans.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Melanie Colson (Chaucer), Dana Murrell, and Natalie Moore; her grandchildren, Eric Moore, Gabriel Moore (Dietra), Leah Boston, Lauren Boston, Lana Boston, Timothy Boston, Amber Phillips, Megan Moore, Brianna Smith, Caleb Moore, Moriah Cooksey, Jamarcus Tutt, and Amaris Tutt; 23 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brothers, Rickey Mobley (Patricia); sisters, Johnnie Mobley, Cynthia Johnson, and Linda Hornsby; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and her dear friends of Sunny Wood Retirement Community who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
