Services: Mr. Atkins Life will be Celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday at Morningside United Methodist Church 2860 Evans Avenue Dr. Charles Robinson officiating. Interment: 2:15 p.m. Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation: Friday noon to 5 p.m. at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors and 7 to 8 p.m. at the church.
George Atkins retired for the United States Army after serving his country honorably 25 years.
Survivors: daughter, Monica Allen, a special niece and care-giver, Brenda Scott, nieces, nephews, other relatives and fiends.
