Mr. Player was a well-known and well-loved principal in the Fort Worth Independent School District.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Glenn Player Jr. and Alfonso Markette Player.
Survivors: Loving daughter, Kenyatta Corwin (David); granddaughter, Kamdyn Corwin; loving mother, Verna Mae Player; sisters, Shirley Quick, Delesia Graham (Robert); brothers, Lyle Player (Patricia), Paul Player (Corrine), Keith Player and Warren Player; and a host of other relatives and friends.
