Mr. Grady Thomas

Grady Thomas was born on May 17, 1964, to David and Mary Thomas. He was the second child and the baby of the family. From an early age, Grady was full of adventure, bright smiles hope and determination. He carried a spirit that believed there was always an exception to every rule. As a young man Grady was admired deeply by his children. To them he was a hero-exciting, strong, and dependable. He was a provider and a protector who seemed able to fix anything. Yet beyond his strength, he showed tenderness in the smallest ways, whether helping with homework or caring for his children with quiet love. In his professional life, Grady worked as an installer and was a former member of the Laborers International Union. He also worked in transportation, always dedicating himself to providing for his family. Grady was preceded in death by his beloved parents, David and Mary Thomas, his son, Lil Grady. and his granddaughter, Madyson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, GaBertha Thomas; his brother, David Thomas, Jr.; his children, Tamara Thomas, Chaka Darden and Micheal Darden (Doniesha); a host of 12 grandchildren including Darius L. Smith, Jr. Yasmine N. Smith, Selah C. Smith, Del'London Stewart, Michael Darden, Jr., Aaron Crowe, Aarion Crowe, CupCake Darden, Calian Darden; 4 great grandchildren, a host of cousins and extended family members.

Grady's life was one of love, strength and unwavering devotion to his family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
