

Graeme is survived by his mother and stepfather, Doreen and Marshall Steglich; wife, Wendy Mitchell; stepchildren, Mindy Sancillo and husband Andrew, and Justin Sandoval and wife Kristine; Sisters, Allison Mitchell and Jennifer Schmidt and husband Brian; Nephews, Jacob and Gavin Schmidt;
Grandchildren, Drew Sancillo, Mila Sandoval and Joseph Sandoval. He is preceded in death by his father, Peter Mitchell.
Graeme was born on May 30, 1963 in Yorkshire, England. His family immigrated to the United States in 1966 residing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Bay Area of California, and Brussels, Belgium before making Texas home in 1975. He attended Texas A & M before completing his studies in Business and Economics at Stephen F. Austin University in 1989. After college he served his country as a United States Marine and then worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years.
Graeme was a social, active, and loving man. He loved spending time with his family, playing fantasy football, and flipping houses with his business partner and best friend Chris Jones. Anyone who knew him knew he was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. His family and friends will always remember his smile, his kindness, and how he was always willing to help anyone. Up until the end, he had a gentle smile on his face and a great attitude towards life. He will deeply be missed by his wife and family.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 6pm - 8pm at Laurel Land in Fort Worth, Texas. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Graeme's Life.
