Imogene Sneed Miller, 98, went home to Jesus on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Imogene was born June 15, 1922 in Waco Texas to Alvah and Delphia Sneed. Married to the love of her life, Bob Miller, on November 20, 1942 at Sagamore Hill Baptist Church, they were married for 62 years “till death” parted them. She was a champion of grace and health. She loved her family relentlessly, loved Jesus and others so beautifully, and she is a model of faith. She was a faithful member of Sagamore Baptist church for 89 years.
Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister’s Adele Frazier, Charlotte Frazier, Evelyn Moffett and her son-in-law, Joe Gurley.
Imogene is survived by her daughters Kay Gurley and Glenda Wilson and husband Robert Wilson; grandchildren Brent Warren (wife Ashley), Jonathan Wilson (wife Kimberly), Mike Warren, Lori Gott (husband Michael), Melissa Wilson, Jeffrey Wilson, Mat Wilson, Andrew Wilson (wife Tiffani), Brenda O'Keefe (husband Ron), Tommy Gurley (wife Roberta), Michael Gurley; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
