

Imogene Robinson Miller was born on May 19, 1930 to Edith Ellenora Schomerus and Rudolph Rennond Robinson in Fort Worth. She graduated from Technical High School with a cosmetology certification in 1948. Imogene married Fred Vernon “Bud” Miller on October 9, 1948, and their union was blessed with three sons. In addition to being active in the Tarrant Baptist Association and Women's Missionary Union, Imogene spent her life mentoring young people through her work with church youth programs and later at Lifeway Christian Stores. She gave generously of her time to her church family at Wichita Street Baptist Church. She was currently a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church. Imogene was actively involved in the Democratic Party and served as an Election Judge and Precinct Chairman until 2013. Sports were a major passion of Imogene's. She loved the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and TCU Horned Frogs; she never missed a game.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors: She is survived by her sons, Vernon Lee “Skip” Miller, Gerald Wayne Miller, and Larry Gene Miller and wife, DJ Miller; grandchildren, Melissa Gene Miller, Ethany Ellen Miller, Larry Daniel Miller, and Amanda Katheryn Goins and husband, Heath Williams; one great-grandchild, Jonas Lowell Williams. She is also survived by the Bill Sager family, her brother, Gerald Robinson and wife, Nola; her sister, Sharon Kahookele; and many nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends.
