Reverend James Price

Reverend James E. Price a devoted husband, educator, and man of faith, peacefully transitioned from this life on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on June 26, 1954, in Hillsboro, Texas. Reverend Price was the beloved son of the late Brandy O. Price and Earner Price. He graduated from Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth and continued his education at Paul Quinn College in Waco, Texas. Reverend Price dedicated his career to the Hillsboro Independent School District, where he retired after many years of shaping young minds and inspiring students to pursue excellence. On life's journey, Reverend Price was blessed with a lifelong partner in love and faith. He and his devoted wife, Carolyn Jo Price, celebrated 50 years of marriage a union that stood as a testament to love, commitment, and God's grace. Reverend Price was preceded in death b y his cherished parents, Brandy O. and Earmer Price. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, family and service that will continue to live on through all who loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Price, brothers, Lemyel O. Price, Brandy G. Price, Sr. (Karen), and Charles Johnson (Rhonda); sisters, Mary Williams (Willie), Brenda Miles (Walter), and Chanie Stoltmann; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, friends and former students who will cherish his memory.

Reverend Price will be remembered for his steadfast faith, his passion for education, his warm spirit and his deep love for family. His life was a living testimony of service to God and community.
