James Earl Turner (J.T.) of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the age of 67. James was born November 9, 1952 in Waxahachie, Texas to James Earl Helton and Birdie M. Turner. James received his education in the Ennis Independent School District in Ennis, Texas. James accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. James was a hardworking man; he worked for Lockheed Martin for 33 years before retiring in December of 2015. He met the love of his life, Rena V. Turner, while working at Lockheed Martin. J.T. loved spending time with his family and friends, cooking BBQ, playing dominoes, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He embraced life’s curve balls and never ended a conversation without saying “I love you.” His smile, commanding voice and love for life will be forever remembered by those who were blessed to know him.
James is preceded in death by his parents James Earl Helton and Birdie Turner, his wife Rena Turner, and two uncles.
Everlasting memories of J.T. will live on in the hearts of his children; Adrienne Chilton (Donald) and Vanessa Williams; brother, Tommie Turner; grandchildren, Remy Clemons, Keelan Chilton, Christian Williams and Seth Williams; great grandson, Bentli Allison, aunts, Peggy Turner and Mary Anderson, cousin, Vanita Moore, and host of other relatives and friends.
