

Jane (Janie} Reynolds was born on July 1, 1930, along with her twin sister Jean, to William Harvey and Goldie Ruth McGourk Roach in Grand Saline, Texas. From Texas they moved to Claire, Michigan in 1939 and finally to Ft Worth in 1940 and live in Riverside.
She married the love of her life, Clayton Eugene (Gene} Reynolds on September 25, 1948 and they created a wonderful life together that lasted for 63 years until 2011 when Gene went to be with his heavenly father. During their marriage, they shared with the boys their love and adventures of water sports, snow skiing, golfing, hunting and wonderful trips. When the first grandchild was born Jane decided that she was too young to be called Grandmother so she decided that she would be called "Janie" by her grandchildren and it soon became the name that she preferred. Janie was a mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and a Great-Great Grandmother that adored all of her Family. She was a devoted member of North Fort Worth Baptist Church for nearly 40 years. She treasured her many friendships made from all her activities. During her life, she was an active member in many clubs and organizations, including The Woman's Club of Fort Worth, Diamond Oaks CC Ladies Golf Association and being an avid golfer, she served as Chairperson for several years of the annual Diamonds in the Rough Golf Tournament, Johnnie's Book Club and Daughters of the Nile. Janie also volunteered at the Masonic Home and School for many years mentoring many children with her love and creativity.
Janie was preceded in death by her parents and three of her siblings; Bill Roach, Jean Roach, and Ruth Crites.
Jane is survived by her three Sons; Terry Reynolds and wife Debbie of Possum Kingdom, Gary Reynolds and wife Debbie of Southlake, and Rodney Reynolds of Whitt; Grandchildren; Ryan Reynolds and wife Faye of Ft Worth, and Clay Reynolds and wife Rebekka of N Richland Hills; Great Grandchildren; Tori Reynolds, Conner Reynolds, Laurel Reynolds, Gage Reynolds, Mya Gonzales, Maddy Gonzales; and Great-Great Grandchild; Tripp Reynolds, Brother Don Harvey Roach, and wife Lavena of St Jo, Missouri and Sister -in-laws: Peggy Roach and Jackie Reynolds of Southlake, as well as many nieces and nephews.
