Joan Frances Howard

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Joan's brilliance and determination were evident from an early age, propelling her into a distinguished career in data processing and a life marked by service and faith. Her steadfast dedication to both family and community shone through in every role she embraced—from her work at Con Edison to her deep involvement in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Whether mentoring youth, leading ministries, or offering a simple act of kindness, Joan touched countless lives with her warmth, wisdom, and generosity.

Above all, Joan's greatest joy was her family. She shared a beautiful love story with her husband, Danny, and together they raised three wonderful children, creating a home grounded in faith, laughter, and love. Her legacy lives on through them—along with her grandchildren, great-grandchild, siblings, and the many lives she uplifted.

Though she is no longer with us, Joan's spirit endures—in the lessons she taught, the love she gave, and the cherished memories we hold dear. Today, we honor her life and give thanks for the time we were blessed to share with her.
