John Derrick Rockmore

John Derrick Rockmore was born on January 6, 1963 in Fort Worth, Texas to the parentage ofWilliam and Naomia Rockmore, who preceded him in death. Also two brothers, Donald EarlRockmore, Billy Ray Rockmore preceded him in death.On Sunday morning December 8, 2019 God sent an Angel to escort him to his final resting placewhere he has been reunited with those who went before him.At an early age, under the guidance of Christian parents, he confessed his faith in Jesus Christ atNew Hope Baptist Church.

He attended Washington Heights Elementary, Meacham Middle School and he graduated fromNorthside High in 1981. He played baseball and softball for several teams.During the time of his departure to glory, he retired from Radio Shack in Fort Worth, TX.John was well loved by everyone that he came in contact with.

He leaves in God’s care: his daughter, Johniqua Derricka Stafford of Fort Worth, TX; loving companion, Judy Ochoa;precious granddaughter, Eden Skye Michell; grandchildren Rhianna and Gabriel Adams;sisters, Helen Myles (Donald) of Dallas, TX and Rhonda Rockmore (Carl) of Fort Worth, TX; brothers, Tommy Rockmore, Walter Rockmore and William Rockmore all of Fort Worth, TX; he also leaves two special nieces, Audra Howard (Steven) and Sahma'aje Rockmore;onelong life timefriendTerleader Scott; two special friends Kevin Owens and Cleaman Kelley;five nephews, JamesMyles Jr;, Trepond Rockmore, Zachary Rockmore, Senneca Rockmore (Maria) and Brian Thompson; fourgreat nephews, seven great nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
