Joseph Adam Ortiz

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Shannon Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76148. A Committal Service will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery, 3600 South Oak Avenue, Mineral Wells, Texas 76067.

Joseph was an avid sports fan. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Mavericks. From shooting baskets to throwing football, he enjoyed anything that had to do with sports. He had an outstanding collection of sports memorabilia. He loved listening and playing music of all genres and types. Joseph grew up in both the Dallas Fort Worth area and also South Texas. While he loved the DFW area passionately and always wanted to make his way back he also loved being with his beloved grandmother and family in South Texas. As a young boy, Joseph loved dinosaurs, his cat, Cookie and his dog, Daisy. He also loved the movie “Space Jam”. Joseph was proud of his family and loved each one of them dearly.

Joseph is survived by his mother, Joanne Jordan; father, Chris Jordan; sister, Christina Jordan; brother Seth Jordan; maternal grandmother, Katherine Johnston; maternal grandfather Leo Ortiz; paternal grandmother, Elaine McNally and husband Joe; paternal grandfather, Stan Jordan and wife Nancy; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
