Juan Serna Gomez

A Visitation for Juan will be held Monday, March 24, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112.

Mass of Christian Burial will occur Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 2635 Burchill Rd, Fort Worth, Texas 76105. Burial to follow at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.

Juan Serna Gomez was born in Jalpa, Zacatecas, Mexico to Juan Serna & Santiaga Gomez on June 2, 1939. He married Ma. Ysabel Valdivia Casarez on November 6, 1957 in Jalpa, Zacatecas.

Juan Serna Gomez is preceded in death by his father Juan Serna Soto, mother Santiaga Gomez Rubio, sisters Lugarda, Rebecca, Maria and brother Everardo.

Juan Serna Gomez is survived by his wife Ma. Ysabel Valdivia, his daughters: Rosaestela (husband Roberto), Mariana (husband Benigno), Juana (husband Victor), Cruz (husband Joel), Cenonita (husband Miguel), Lourdes (husband Jose Alberto), Alicia (husband Eduardo), Patricia (husband Jason), Dolores (husband Jose), and Lorena; sons Tiodulo (wife Martha), Filiberto (wife Veronica) and Juan Jr. (wife Edelin). Grandchildren: Rene, Arturo, Cesar, Xochitl, Claudia, Monica, Judith, Cristina, Emma, Yanett, Edith, Angie, Gerardo, Benjamin, Victoria, Paola, Andres, Alexis, Jessica, Erica, Miguel Angel, Alejandro, Luis Manuel, Alondra, Sophia, Mia, Juan Eduardo, Lizandra, Ivan Manuel, Anthony, Leslie, Nahum, and Fernanda. Great grandchildren: Nayeli, Alejandro, Luis Fernando, Gael, Yatziri, Jose Santiago, Isias, Nicolas, Cesar Jr., Cecilia, Cathalina, Brianna, Jose, Aiden, Daniel, Josiah, Jacob, Jordyn, Jaxson, Laylah, Mikaylah, Alfonso, Mark, Elias, Natalie, Genevie, Christopher, Nelson, Juan Carlos, Ismael, Noah, Mateo, Catalina, Valentina, Alejandro Jr. and Alessio Joaquin.
