Service: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at St Luke's in the Meadow Episcopal Church, 4301 Meadowbrook Drive, Fort Worth 76103. Katherine will be laid to rest at 11:30 a.m. in DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

Katherine was born on Dec. 29, 1931, in Fort Worth to Chock and Mae Paddack Herricks. They preceded her in death as did her devoted husband of 59 years, Hyman Runkle.
Survivors: Beloved daughters; son-in-law; grandson; and numerous others who held her in high regard.
