Lauren Andrea Burdett

Lauren was born February 27, 1946 in Chicago Ill. to Walter and Mary Pauline Ferestad. She married Thomas Cannizzo on Halloween 1964. Their son, Kenneth “Ken” Cannizzo was born in May of 1966. They divorced a few years later and she and her son moved to Fort Worth in 1974. She married Lee Caraway in 1978 and divorced 1982. She married Gary Burdett April 9, 1993 and were married 29 years until his passing August 7, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her Sister Billie Jeanne Rundle and Richard Hutchings and survived by her son Kenneth Cannizzo and Daughter-in-Law Denise Cannizzo, grandson William Koepp and Great Grandson Kristopher Koepp, and her sisters Sonja Davis and Karen Mark as well as several cousins.

She started working in her late teens and worked various jobs, mostly in sales, until becoming a Bail Bondsman for about four years in the mid 80s. Shortly thereafter she managed the Albatross Club prior to purchasing it in 1989, she sold it in 1995. She then went to work for Macy's until she opened her own retail store, Rugrats Resale in 2007 until she retired 2017. She was an avid collector of everything Mickey Mouse.

Flower deliveries are limited to 8 AM until Noon on Tuesday 22.

In lieu of flowers, donations to National cancer society, COPD Foundation or American Lung association are also welcome.
