Lee worked for Illinois Electric Works of East St. Louis, Ill., Brown Wholesale Electric of Tucson, Ariz., and Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) of Fort Worth. He liked to fix things around the house. He enjoyed classic cars and riding bicycles.
Lee loved gospel quartet music and, in earlier years, sang bass in a church group. He especially enjoyed family gatherings and being surrounded by his grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty.
Survivors: Wife of 61 years, Vonnie; daughter, Melanie Ann; granddaughters, Courtney (Bobby) Hester and Lindsay (Darrin) Stringfield; four great-grandchildren, Eli Sanders, Sheltyn Sanders, Tye Sanders and Christopher Hester; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
