

With heavy hearts and deep love, we celebrate the life of Lottie Gwenetta Newhouse Adams, who peacefully transitioned on Thursday, April 23, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 71.
A Visitation will be held at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Funeral Home, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76112, on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Celebration of Life will take place at the House of Prayer Church of God, 5301 E Berry St, Fort Worth, Texas 76119, on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00 am, with Superintendent Larry Adams officiating. Burial to Follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park , 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, Texas 76134.
Lottie was born on June 8, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Henry L. Cumby and Alvin Ruth Carter. She was raised and educated in Fort Worth, where she graduated from Green B. Trimble Technical High School and continued her studies at Tarrant County Junior College. She went on to dedicate many years of service as a manufacturer with Texas Instruments, where she was respected for her hard work and dedication.
Lottie was a woman of quiet strength, grace, and deep love for her family. She found happiness in life’s simple moments and cherished the time spent with those closest to her. On September 25, 2024, she was united in marriage to Anthony Adams, sharing love and companionship.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry L. Cumby and Alvin Ruth Carter; her brother Larry (Alice); her sister-in-law Betty; and her daughters Nicole and LaToya.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Anthony Adams; her loving daughter Tracy (Enotseo); her siblings Charles, Myron, and Myra; her cherished grandchildren Torrence, Ty’Keria, Paige (Darrian), Jason Jr., and Jacobian; and her adored great-grandchildren Madison, Mason, MaLeigh, Miles, and Sage. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Cardinal Family Care and Heart to Heart Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
