Lynn Donnell Carter Sr.

Lynn Carter Sr was born September 24,1958 in Fulton, Mo to David Carter Sr. and Bobbye Anne Galbreath. He peacefully departed this journey on March 10,2022 with his devoted husband by his side.

Lynn graduated from Mexico High school in 1977 and went on to enlist in the U S Army right after graduation. He served 5 years before being honorably discharged in 1982. After that he went on to pursue a bachelor's in Computer Science in Chattanooga, TN.

Lynn was joined in Holy Matrimony to Kevin Carter on April 4,2008. They stayed blissfully in love for 14 years and happily devoted to each other until his passing. Lynn and Kevin enjoyed traveling and many fun outings and adventures.

Lynn is survived by his loving husband Kevin Carter. His Pops, daughter Artecha Carter of Arlington TX, son Jaren Carter (Asia) of Jacksonville FL., Sisters Deldor Moore (Ricky) and Dorothy Scruggs (John), both of Arlington, Carmen Carter of Florida, Donna McGlaun (John), of Collinsville IL. Brothers Lewis Galbreath (Lisa) of Arlington, Jewell Carter of GA, Robert Galbreath (Jovita) of Arlington. Four grandchildren Dallas Carter, McKenzi (Lady Mac) Carter, Trenton Carter, and Paris Carter and host of nieces and nephews.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, David and Patricia Carter Sr., and his biological mother, Bobbye Anne Galbreath, brother, David Carter Jr., and son, Lynn (Pudgie) Carter jr.

In his free time Lynn loved to spend time with his husband Kevin, children, grandchildren, and family. In his younger years he was an avid reader and as time progressed became well-traveled. Lynn loved music and could be found humming melodies of his favorite songs. His love and kindness will be missed amongst those that loved him.
