Mr. Manuel Sanchez Sides Jr.

Manuel passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones, he was 87 years old. Manuel was a retired employee of the City of Fort Worth Water Dept. He also had his own Exterminating company, Manuel Sides Pest Control. He was the husband of Alberta Rosa Sides for 69 years. He was the father of seven children, and the eldest brother of six children.

He was an avid player of golf, playing in several tournaments throughout the city. He was our social butterfly who loved to drive around visiting and talking with people. He loved playing the lotto, watching golf, football, and baseball.

Preceded in death: Parents, Manuel S. Sides Sr., Angela Sides. Siblings, Tony Sides, Joe Sides, Sally Mireles and husband Rudy Mireles, Helen Sides, and Jesse Vasquez. Children, Patricia Barber and husband Gary Barber, Gloria Kuhnen, Manuel S. Sides III.

Survivors: Alberta R. Sides, wife. Siblings, Robert Sides, MaryAnn Vasquez, sister-in-law Susie Sides, and Sara Martinez. Children, Son-in-law Vincent Kuhnen, Daniel Sides, David Sides, Elizabeth Rodriguez and husband Joe Rodriguez, Maria Delores Sides. 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.

From our heart to yours, dad, you were the greatest man I’ve ever known, thank you for always being there, you will be greatly missed. We will hold your memory in our hearts, and not to worry, we will take care of mom.

We will say our final goodbyes on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Laurel Land. Visitation: 10am-11am, service to start at 11am.
