Manuel "Manny" Ragos Tagorda

Funeral: 12 noon Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Father Jim McGhee officiating, 2016 Willis Lane, Keller. Visitation: family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel with prayer service at 6 pm. Burial: Bear Creek Cemetery.

Born Jan. 19, 1947, in Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines to Jose Perez Tagorda and Prudencia Ragos Tagorda, he lived in the Isabela area and graduated from Angadanan High School. He moved to Manila, where he received a mechanical degree in business at Technical Institute of the Philippines. He moved with his wife and two children in U.S.A, he decided to go back to school and graduated at Lincoln Tech Institute with honors. Manuel was employed by the Chase Bank, DFW. He was a member of the Lions Club and also Philippines Dance Culture. He enjoyed dancing, singing, traveling, collecting small cars and also loved antiquing.

Manuel was preceded in death by his father, Jose Perez Tagorda, Sr.; his mother, Prudencia Ragos Tagorda; siblings, Jose Tagorda,Jr., Estelita Tagorda and niece, Catherine Velez.

Survivors: wife, Melba B. Tagorda; daughter, Marinel Casey; son, Maynard Tagorda; son-in-law, Wm. T. "Sean" Casey; daughter-in-law, Carie Tagorda; grandsons, Jeremy Casey, Jaren Tagorda, and Morgan Tagorda; granddaughters, Myla Casey and Melissa Tagorda; brothers, Greg Tagorda and Ramon Tagorda; sisters, Rosalina Chua, Pacita Vera Cruz and Cornelia Tagorda; nine nieces, Marlene Tagorda Tuazon, Tara Tagorda, Yvette, Yvonne, Marjorie Malley, Carla Chua, Caroline Chua, Cindy Vera Cruz, Lauren Tagorda; thirteen nephews, Joseph Tagorda,Jr., Gregory Tagorda, Marcialito Sison, Darwin Sison, Marvin Sison, Carlo Chua, Carlito Chua, Caote Chua, Jason Vera Cruz, Rocky Vera Cruz, Ramon "RJ" Tagorda, Christophter Salazar and Michael Salazar.
