Service: 10 a.m. Monday at the Hills Church of Christ. Interment: will follow. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel.
Marcelle was born in Bonham to John and Edna King. She graduated from Bogata High School. Bill and Marcelle were married in September 1947 in Dallas after being introduced by family and friends. They were active members of the Hills Church of Christ for 30 years. Marcelle was an active resident of The Villas at Bear Creek, where they had lived for 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Survivors: Husband of 68 years, K.R. "Bill" Simmonds; children, Raeanne and husband, Rock, and Keith and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Joel Keith, Brian, Parker, Sarah, Colin and Logan; great-grandsons, Justin and Blake; and many other family members and friends.
