I miss you every day. I miss those times where we'd all be on the porch and we were a family. Out of all the wonderful things you taught... Being without you was never mentioned. I guess cause you taught us how to be good people and that missing a loved one was that part of life that no one talks about. I won't lie its be very hard I think of you daily and always will when I pray I know you listen. As the tears fall I know I'll see you again then the hole in my heart won't hurt anymore.

I find myself thinking back to things we've done, things you've said, and the advice that you gave. I miss you terribly and not a day goes by or ever will that I don't think of you. 
I love you and miss you so, I know your with Jesus and you are better than ever but I will always miss my mom until I see you again.

It has been so hard to accept that you are really gone!  Everyday I have more and more loss in my heart from you being gone! I need you momo and not having you here is so hard for me and my family! PawPaw and BJ need you too and they are struggling without you, but I will do my best to be there and comfort them! I hope it is nice up in heaven and you are so much more happier!  Please look after us mom and help us through this tough time in understanding and accepting that you are really gone! I know how much you loved us and want us all to be ok! I love you Momo and will always miss you!

To any one who doesn't know me I am Lola, first cousin to Marilyn and Rusty and Fonda!  Marilyn and I were very close growing up and in our wild and younger days there are things we done together that I still cannot mention because I'm scared I would still get into trouble!  LOL  But, here is a poem I want to dedicate to all the people who love Marilyn as much as I do! I hope ya'll do not mine me sharing it..
To My Dearest Family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived today.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through
God picked me up and hugged me and He said " I welcome You."
Its good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the days chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you...in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too..
that as you give into the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night...." My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented...that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go...from that body to be free, 
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I had the honor of visiting with Marilyn a couple of weeks ago and she and I had a very nice visit; its one I wont soon forget!  And, even though I knew we were losing her, I had comfort in the fact of she knew where she was going and she would no longer be suffering!  
And, even though Marilyn and I hadn't been as close as we were growing up, I've always missed her in my life!  But life has a way of taking us all in different directions but Marilyn and I both knew how much we cared for one another.  Yes, I have my regrets, as I'm sure a lot of us do, but she's now in God's loving arms and watching over us!  Aunt Billie, I love you!  Rusty, Randy and BJ  please try to make it to the Smith Family reunions...I love ya'll and will keep ya'll in my prayers!!!  Lola Gray

momo you will be very missed and in our hearts u will remain forever. until the day we see you again i want you to know i love u so much and so does cams bj mom and everybody else. love is strong and powerful. i hope you are in peace and are not in pain i miss u so much. :)

We are so sorry and shocked!!!  Have been thinking about you and missing ya in church.  I'm so sorry I didn't know...I felt like we "connected" right from the beginning.  Will be praying for all the family and know our hearts are with you all.  She is in no pain now and with Jesus.
