FORT WORTH -- Martha Jewell West, a loving wife to her husband, a caring mother to her children and grandchildren and a true woman of God, traded her old earthly house for a brand new home in Glory on Wednesday March 26, 2014.
Homegoing Celebration: 11:00 a.m. Saturday Strangers Rest Baptist Church 5705 Donnelly Avenue at Horne Street, the Reverend Michael S. Booker pastor, her son the Reverend Herman D. West eulogist. Interment: 11:15 Monday in the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Visitation: Friends of Mrs. Martha West may visit her as she lies in repose in the Veronica Chapel of Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, Friday noon to 5:00 p.m. and at the church 7 to 8;30 p.m.
Left with fomd and precious memories her husband of 59 years the Reverend Herman West, children; the Reverend Herman D. West(Debra), Martha A. West Greer, the Reverend Jason D. West(Sheryl), Cassandra McDowell(Joey), Delbert Jackson, seven grandchildren,and a host of other relatives and friends.
