Marva Jan Clynch

Marva Jan Clynch, age 76, of Burleson, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Marva passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. She was a caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Marva is a graduate of Paschal High School in Fort Worth. After high school, she went on to become an executive assistant at Alcon Labs in Fort Worth. Marva worked with several executives at Alcon and eventually was head of the Alcon Foundation. Marva retired from Alcon in 2004 after more than 30 years of service. Marva spent a significant amount of time at Chisholm Summit Community Church volunteering, attending Bible study group, and helping wherever she was needed.

Marva met Mike Clynch in high school, and they were married for 57 years. She is survived by their sons, Scott Clynch, and Chris Clynch, along with their wives Elfida Clynch and Michelle Clynch, and their children Tashiana, Dean, Payton, and Bradley. Marva is also survived by one sister, Deborah Green, her husband Vernon Green, niece Amy Willis, and by her sister-in-law Trisha Simpson and niece Jana Engle. Marva Clynch was preceded in death by her husband Mike Clynch and parents, Marvin Kenas, and Jeanette Kenas.

The viewing services will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from 6-8 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home located at 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134. The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 11 AM at Chisholm Summit Community Church located at 9705 County Road 1016 Burleson, TX 76028.
