Mary Faye Perkins

Born May 9, 1928, in Italy, Texas, to Marlin and Lucille Knotts. Mary was a loving homemaker and always had a sweet spirit. She will especially be remembered for her handwritten recipes. When her cooking is mentioned the first thought that comes to mind is her chocolate pie😊

Preceded in death by husband, James W Perkins, three sons, Charles Perkins, James R Perkins and David Perkins, two sisters, Betty Claxton and Dorothy Perkins and brother, James Roy Knotts, several grandchildren and other loved ones.

She is survived by daughter, Linda and husband, Eddie Short of the Rendon area, sisters, Joanne Aldridge of Port St Luce, Florida and Carolyn Claxton of Ennis and brother Lonnie Knotts of Alvarado, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Viewing will be 6pm-8pm, Friday, August 2, at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX

Services will be Saturday, August 3, 2:30pm, Rendon Baptist Church, 5475 E FM 1187, Rendon, TX (across from Sonic). Rev Jeff Hampton officiating

Promptly following, gravesite services will be at Cope Cemetery, FM 2738 and Dave Angel Rd., Burleson (Retta), Texas
