Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel with rosary at 7 p.m.
Michelle was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where she served as a financial service specialist. She worked as a secretary for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church from March 1999 to November 2014.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Enerst and Ida Avila; and sister, Elizabeth Winkler.
Survivors: Husband, Robert Auwaerter Jr.; son, David; daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie; father, John Avila and wife, Irene; mother, Susan Snellbaker and husband, Dan; brothers, John Snellbaker and wife, DeAnne, Steve Snellbaker and wife, Kathy; sister, Kris Bauer and husband, Jack; and other extended family.
