Miles Robert Zawadzke, 78, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away March 28, 2017. He was born in Temple, Texas on September 23, 1938, moving to Fort Worth as a young child. Bob attended Virginia Tech then graduated with a Masters in Applied Sciences from TCU. He was married to Wanda Wooldrige on December 28, 1963. Bob worked at General Dynamics on the Apollo 13 Project and his contribution is on display at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. Bob wore many hats, but his favorite being the cowboy hat he proudly wore, while working for the Fort Worth Cowtown Coliseum during his later years. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Miles and survived by his wife of 54 years, Wanda Wooldrige Zawadzke, daughter, Courtney Zawadzke, son-in-law, James William Melendy and grandson, Ethan Miles Zawadzke. Graveside service to be held at the Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery on Wednesday, April 5, at 1pm (Lane A).
