Naomi Woolridge

Naomi Woolridge was born April 15, 1930 to the parentage of Reverend Albert and Sarah Morgan. She was one of the 13 born to this union.

She obtained her education and graduated from Kate Long High School in Springfield, Tx. Naomi moved to Fort Worth, Tx when she was 15 years old to live with her sister. Naomi excepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age in life. Her first job was at Natatorium Laundry where she worked until she met and married Mr. Honor B. Woolridge. To this union 5 children were born...4 daughters and 1 son. After becoming a widow she later met Mr. Clarence Brown and had a daughter with. Some years later she met Mr. John Clark and had a daughter with him. She went on in life and started working for Church’s Fried Chicken where she served as a hard working dedicated employee for 25 years before retiring.

She was a faithful member, usher board instructor, chairman of the Pastor’s Aid and over the kitchen committee @ Rising Star Baptist Church for over 40 years until her health started declining.

Naomi is preceded in death by her parents....(5) brothers and (6) sisters. She’s also preceded in death by (3) grandchildren...Tenecia Taylor, Curlee R. Marshall and Tyhee Marshall

To cherish the beautiful memories she leaves: (6) daughters Linda Cole, Janice Marshall, Sherry Badger, Diane McIntyre, Alicia Osborne(Jerry) and Johnnie English(David). (1) spoiled rotten son Honor D. Woolridge. (16) grandkids Ebony Woods(Marcel), Salestirest Brewer, Jr, Celeste Brewer, O’Bryan Wright, Audrianna Osborne, Deshunay Osborne, Rochelle Brinson(Greg), Rayfield McIntyre, Jr, Anthony Clemmons, James Badger(Kim), Deshume Badger, Staron Badger, Corlitta Whatley, John Whatley, Jr, Monica Thompson(Priestly) and Carla Whatley. (33) great grandkids. (2) great great grandkids. Her 2 special boys that she said was her babies Kashten Tezeno and Dylan Debarboza. Her one and only sister Sarah Fields.

Her adopted children: Ralph W. Emerson(Gladys), Excel Amos(Melissa), Dietrich Brooks(Bernice), Jennie Lockett(Andre), Shirley Scott.
