Norma, a graduate of R.L. Paschal High School Class of 1944, married the love of her life, Jerry Curtis Daniel. They had three children; Jeffrey Lee Daniel, June 20,1949, Richard Curtis Daniel, October 27,1952, and Dee Anne Daniel, April 20,1956. She was employed by Lockheed Martin in 1957 as a data keypunch operator and retired after 39 years of service in 1996.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Curtis Daniel; parents, Joseph Emil Hajek and Jennie Lea Hajek; brothers, Edward Hajek (Nina), and Wilbur Hajek (Kay); sisters, Juliette Taylor (James), Mary Jo Worthington (Raymond), Jeanine Richardson (Bill); brother-in-laws, Brooks McDonald and Gary Matzner; and sons, Jeffrey Daniel (Vicky), and Richard Daniel.
Survivors include brother; Ted Hajek (Judy) of Burleson; sisters, Helen McDonald of Grapevine, Sharon Matzner of Burleson; daughter, Dee Anne Brown (Mike); daughter-in-law, Gwen Daniel; grandchildren, Corey Daniel, Chris Daniel, Stephanie Ellis, Brooke McWhirter, Lindsay Pate, Eric Shockley, Jorel Shockley, Amber Cassel, and Rachael Hopson; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are Corey Daniel, Chris Daniel, Eric Shockley, Jorel Shockley, Grant McWhirter and Paul Pate.
