Oneita was born in Terrell Nov. 28, 1916 to Emmett Prince Dorough Sr. and Effie Jane Slaton Dorough, and grew up in Fort Worth.
She was loved and cherished by family and friends, most recently by her care givers at Trail Lake Nursing Center who claimed to be "her best friend". The family extends their heartfelt thanks to them for the loving care she received.
This remarkable lady outlived her three older siblings, her husband, Logan C. Faris, daughters, Elizabeth Ann Faris and Nancy Murphy and grandsons, Philip Labhart and David Murphy.
She is survived by her children, daughters, E. Jane Parris, Jerry S. Labhart and husband Cecil, Carol Moore and son, Larry C. Faris and wife Eva, thirteen grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, and numerous great, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
