

Liz was born in Sheperd, TX on September 14, 1945 to Dovie and Henry Pittman. In her younger years Liz resided in Southeast Texas including Shepherd and Votaw. While there she was a member of Votaw Assembly of God. This is where she started her family and worked hard taking care of her three children. In 1976, Liz moved to Fort Worth with her children and began her career and new life in the city. She became a secretary. She retired from Morrison Plumbing Supply in the early 2000’s to be a Granny and take care of children from her home. Liz enjoyed cooking homemade peanut butter cakes, cornbread dressing, and her famous chicken and dumplings. She also loved country and western dancing. She loved being with her family and loved her dogs, Daisy, Hart, and Toni.
She was preceded in death by her spouses, Curtis Autrey and George Cunningham; her parents; and her brother, Herman Pittman.
Liz is survived by her sons, Michael and wife, Kimberely Bennett, Rhonda and husband, Brent Ritter, and Brian and wife, Marla Bennett; grandchildren, Heidi, Kara, Sara, Katy, Jamie, Emma, Bryce, and Micah; and 10 great grandchildren.
