

Patsy Marie (Baker) Cox, 97, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on January 20, 2026. She was born in Farmersville, Texas on October 13, 1928. Patsy graduated from Cleburne High School in 1946 and continued her education at the Fort Worth Business School. Patsy went on to work in sales at The Original Carpenter Paper Company in Fort Worth before it became part of International Paper Company where she worked until her retirement.
Patsy was a devout Christian, steadfast in her walk with the Lord and unwavering in her belief in the power of prayer. Her gentle spirit, strong faith, and compassionate heart touched all who knew her. She lived each day with grace, gratitude, and kindness, leaving a legacy of Christian love that will continue to shine in the lives of her family for generations to come.
Patsy truly cherished her family. Spending time with her loved ones brought her immeasurable joy, and she was happiest surrounded by the people she held dear. She also had a spirited, adventurous side and loved traveling—always ready for a new journey, new scenery, or simply the opportunity to share an experience with those she loved.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Laurel Land on Crowley Road in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 28th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes.
She is preceded in death by her parents Richard E. Baker Sr. and Nerma Jane (Carlton) Baker; her beloved husband, Guy T. Cox; her son, Tim L. Cox; and her brother, Richard E. Baker, Jr.
Patsy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pam (Whitlock) Cox of Crowley; her three grandsons, Brian Cox and wife Ashley of Fort Worth, Justin Cox and Anna Willmoth of Crowley, and Jeremy Cox and wife Kristy Cox of Crowley; and eight great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her! She is also survived by her niece Gay Lynn Thompson; nephews Richard Daniel Baker, Dale Connor Baker, and Guy Lamar Baker; her sister-in-law Mary Lou Baker; and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Patsy’s life was a beautiful testament to faith, family, and love. Those blessed to know her will carry her memory in their hearts always, comforted by the promise of reunion in God’s eternal kingdom.
