

Rachel Chrystine Jordan, 101, passed away Tuesday, May 6th, 2025, after a brief illness. She was born on December 9th, 1923, to Faye and Addis Prather. Her husband Edward S “Bill” Jordan Sr. was a retired military veteran. They lived on military bases around the country, including Alaska during his service. When she returned to their home in Fort Worth, she worked at Ben Hogan and retired as an inspector over golf balls and clubs.
Rachel was a wonderfully loving wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma. She loved doing sudoku puzzles and spending time with her family. Everyone she met loved her and will miss her terribly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward S “Bill” Jordan; Her parents, Addis and Faye Prather; her brother, Carl Prather, and beloved dog, Pretty Boy.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Antorietto of San Diego, California; sons, Scott Jordan and wife Sylvia of Fort Worth, Texas and Carlton Jordan and wife Trisha, of Burleson, Texas; eight grandchildren, Tommy, Scott, and Michael Antorietto, Lisa Pelayo and Kelly Jordan, Cody, Ryan, and Nicole Jordan; seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Graveside service will be held at Laurel Land Memorial Park on Wednesday, 5/14/25 at 2:00 PM and Visitation with family at Laurel Land Funeral Home 5/13/25 from 6:00-8:00PM
