He was born December 23,1944 to Irenis (Pat) and Evelyn Brown in Norfolk, VA. Upon graduation he entered the US Army and then went to Vietnam.
In 1974, he entered the Navy until he retired in 1987. His family then relocated to Texas where he lived out the remainder of his days.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Faye Brown.
He is survived by his sister; Lina Mae Brown, wife: Cathy Brown, his children; Laura Brown (James), Michelle Kwiecinski (Rob), Bobby Brown (Lexann), and Melissa Hutchison (Cliff), his Grandchildren: Rebecca, Hunter (Chris), Buggie (Michael) and Heather (Eddie), his great-grandchildren: Journee, Squishee, and Gracie.
