Bob was born in Kankakee, Illinois to Bobby W. Cook, and Joyce Cook on July 22, 1961. He grew up in the north Texas area, graduating from Burleson High School in 1979. He pursued higher education and was accepted into Bethel University in Tennessee, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1983.
He was a retired police officer of the Fort Worth Police Department, where he served his community for a time period of 31 years. He was a wonderful person that could light up a room with a story or saying, tenderly and affectionately known as "Bobisms". He was quick to give, and received his joy in life from his children, his family, his dear friends, and by assisting in anyones endeavors however he could. Needless to mention, Bob was a generous and compassionate man.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Bobby W. Cook, and his sister Donna L. Cook. Robert Cook Sr.
Bob is survived by his mother, Joyce Cook, two sisters, Deborah Marek-Beberstein and Joyce Cook-Little, two children, Bailey Cook and Robert Cook Jr., two grandchildren, numerous extended family and loving friends.
Fair winds and following seas, sir.
