Dr. Robert G. Shipman, age 97, died September 3, 2016. He was born in Neenah, WI in 1918 and lived in the Madison, WI area most of his life until moving to Texas in 2011. He was a WWII veteran and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University.
He worked for the state of Wisconsin for his entire veterinary career. Bob had many interests and hobbies including woodworking, gardening, wine making and in his later years, cooking. He enjoyed fishing, bridge and dancing with his wife, Mary.
He was much loved by his family which includes his wife, Mary; three children, Jean, Dennis and Don; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
