Ronald Richard Harper

Ronald was born February 28, 1944, in LaPorte, Indiana, to Leslie Harper and Loretta “Letty” Spriggs-Bruce. Ron was a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be missed by his family and those close to him. He was a hard-working provider and loyal friend who was always willing to help others.

He was preceded by his mother; stepfather, John Bruce; first wife, Diana Kay Britt, second wife Barbara Griffin-Harper; and sister Patsy Ann Ross.

Survivors: Wife, Elaine Harper; Children: Karen Holbrook and husband Robert, Kim Wright and husband Eugene, Reggie Harper and wife Karen, Tim Martin and partner Kidder Owens, Renee Christensen, Cindy Rudd, Brian Martin and wife Rhonda, Tracy Locke and wife Aimee, Christine Adams and husband Jeff, Denise Heard and husband Lee, Jason Halstead; brothers: Larry Bruce, Alton Bruce, Martin Bruce and wife Dawn; sister, Lucy Whitaker and husband David; Seventeen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
