Born 6/24/1945 in Oakland Ca. He was married to his wife, Mary Harrison Powell, for 55 years.
They have 1 son Thomas A. Powell, 1 grandson Korbin R. Powell, his wife Amber and 3 great grandchildren, Izabella, Everleigh, and Lincoln, 2 brothers Barry Powell and Richard Powell (Rose his wife), many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Allen R. And Vanita L. Powell. He worked at the Southside Drive In Theater as a young man, attended UTA, worked at General Dynamics helping to build the F111 fighter planes, worked at Verizon for 44 years, starting as a lineman and working his way up to an engineer. He loved working in his yard and garden, often staying outside all day. He and Mary made many trips together, especially to Walt Disney World. There will be a private ceremony at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
