Ruth was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on February 16, 1954 and was the 5th sibling of five brothers and two sisters. In 1959, when Ruth was 5 years old she arrived in Fort Worth, Texas where she also grew up.
Ruth was a devoted wife to her late husband, Peter Garcia, and became the full time caregiver to her youngest sister, Noemi Carrizales.
Ruth was a devout Christian and served the Lord with all her heart. She was a faithful and active member of her church.
She studied cosmetology and was licensed as an instructor by the Texas Cosmetology Commission. She also worked as a substitute elementary school teacher in Carrollton, Texas.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Peter Garcia, her parents Severiano and Narcisa Carrizales, and her brother Moises Carrizales.
Ruth is survived by one sister Noemi, and her brothers Ben, Daniel, Joel and David Carrizales.
