Sally Sue Hancock

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Memorial Park, located at 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas, 76112.

Sally was born on December 18, 1943 in Denison, Texas to John Due Conditt and Sylvia Bernice Conditt. They both preceded her in death.

Sally grew up in the Eastside of Fort Worth, where the family was very much apart of the Handley Community. Later in life she lived in Belgium. After moving back to the states she lived in Hico and later, Irving before moving to Granbury to live and care for her mother, Sylvia who passed away in 2010. During that time she achieved her LVN and furthering her career in the 90’s completing a nursing degree as a single mother. Continuing in her mother’s footsteps in nursing who was the first director of nursing at Arlington Memorial Hospital.

She worked hard to raise her boys and loved taking care of others. She enjoyed reading her bible every morning and was a believer. She also enjoyed dancing and there was always a smile on her face. If you saw it you would never forget it and the bright spirit she exuded.

Sally is survived by her sons, John D. Perkinson & William A. Hancock and her grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed. She loved people and was a social butterfly. She was a blessing to us all.
