Shirley Patricia Jenkins went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, due to natural causes.
Funeral: Noon Thursday, Oct. 10, at Mountain Creek Church, 5950 Eagle Ford Drive, Dallas.
Shirley passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends. She was born April 10, 1927, in Hamilton, Mont., located in the Bitterroot Valley at the feet of the Rocky Mountains.
Survivors: Children, Bill Jenkins, Dana Word and Mark Jenkins; her grandchildren, Matthew Jenkins, Chris Word, Kelly Williams and Michael Jenkins; and six great-grandchildren.
